Mr Goel Superannuated as Executive Director - Chief of Engineering Services M/S Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited, have experience of over 40 years and is an independent engineering consultant.
He was also responsible for the formulation of Energy Conservation Policy, use of solar, wind energy etc. and inculcating energy conservation culture in the Organization. He has executed a Wind Power project of 102 MW in Rajsthan and initiated a new concept for wind mapping program in ONGC for offshore areas for putting up offshore wind power generation plants in India.
He also has large experience in Maintenance Management and was heading Maintenance Group of one of Asia’s largest, Hazira Gas Processing Complex at Surat, Gujarat.

A Mechanical Engineering Graduate joined ONGC in 1976 and after working for 36 years retired as GGM (Drilling). During the service a number of highly critical cementing operations of wells having HP/HT conditions, highly deviated /horizontal wells and wells having complications like severe loss /washouts, were successfully planned and executed. As a cementing expert have done a number of post job analysis and planned and executed a number of remedial cementing operations. Having a very good exposure in providing training, operation and maintenance of cementing equipment including new generation cementing units, tendering and procurement of cementing equipment and cementing chemicals.
As a drilling advisor completed a project on drilling of development wells in Dholka field in Ahmedabad for Joshi Technology International. Involved with reviewing of tender documents for hiring of drilling rig and cementing contracts for drilling companies such as ARAMCO, Iraq Drilling Company, Weatherford, Baker Hughes and Halliburton. |
